Michele was a fantastic driver and guide for the two days in The Western Cape. She is knowledgeable, provides exceptional service and perhaps most importantly she is extremely friendly. From the time we contacted Michele till the end of our trip it was a great pleasure to be with her. Before leaving for Cape Town, we changed everything from accommodations , free days , tours , dates , etc but Michele handled all this with professionalism. She picked us at the airport and we got along really very well. The changing of our plans continued when we were in Cape Town, depending on the weather. Michele was always on time to pick us up, although we were staying more than an hour’s drive from her house , with no time restrictions for the end of the day. She handpicked all our accommodation in Cape Town and across the Garden Route, and we loved each and every place. Exactly what we wanted. A local experience. Visited all the hidden gems of Cape Town, which only a local would know. Michele would give company to my wife for her shopping, me for the wine, and also to my son for various sports activities he was interested in. Highly recommended, as Michele has a passion for her job, and does not do it for the income.

Absurdly flexible, always in a great mood, lots of options of things to do at the drop of a hat, good whale spotter. Not pushy with the itinerary and times (great for a family who is into “cultural” regular type).

I was booked for a full day wine tour through a colleague for one full day. I then got a call from the clients to do another day tour on the Sunday, this being a half day tour to Cape Point and Boulders Beach via Chapmans Peak.

Three of us hired Michele for a day of sightseeing and visits to wineries near Cape town. It was a marvelous day. Michele was an excellent guide for the region. She loves the area and it is evident in her knowledge and excitement about the area. The day was well organized and we had a great drive before we visited the wineries and had a wonderful lunch and dinner at two different locations. I would highly recommend her as a guide and driver. A great day for us.

We signed up with AMT Tours without any idea what to expect but all our doubts were settled from the moment Michele, the owner and operator picked us up from Cape Town airport. She was warm, cheerful and ready to accommodate each and everyone’s wishes without any reluctance. She is indeed the hostess of her country with the mostest. She is trustworthy, punctual and very knowledgeable of her region and country. The fact that she is a family girl, she knows a lot about how to talk to children. All four of us, husband and 2 daughters love her. She is not one of those who is calculative of the time she spends with us and never hurries us wherever she takes us. This is an important element of her service because we always felt we were visiting places with her and not through her. I have to add also that she never ever let us pay for any of her meals that we ate together. That showed me that she was very professional and did not take her clients for granted. We would have done so without any problem but Michele drew the line herself. Takes a lot of awkwardness off the table. When we cancelled any preplanned activity she never got irritated or made us feel bad about it. She does pack in a lot of activity and gives us the opportunity to cancel or add any new places we want to do instead.
Overall, thanks to Michele she has left a lasting impression of herself and her country. We now feel we have not only got to know South Africa better, but have been treated to genuine South African hospitality. You will not be disappointed with her guidance. Book her quick before she gets too busy.

We were picked up by Michele Olieslager at the airport with our plane being about 1 hour late she was first in line. Instantly new we were going to have fun. Drove us to our hotel, she walked in with us to make sure we were settled before she left us. Next morning she was there waiting for us to go on of first tour. We were with her for 3 days, she was always on time, and the bonus of having a private driver is things can change and we can add or delete somethings during your day. I would highly recommend Michele.
