Welcome to AMT TOURS South Africa

11 years ago I decided to make some big changes in my life and moved away from Sales and Marketing in the media industry to become a private tour guide in my country.  I attended The Livingstone Tourism Academy where I qualified as a culture site tour guide and obtained my tourism badge.

I had the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful towns in our City and in the country, stay at amazing accommodation establishments, eat at great restaurants and experience various adventure activities, some a little daring, but none the less very exhilarating.

What a wonderful way to meet phenomenal people from all over the world. Some of my guests are still in touch via social media and every now and again I get a call from India to see how myself and my family are doing.  I built really good friendships with a lot of my guests.   I learnt about different countries, other than my own, met amazing people and shared so many stories around the table with my guests.

These were all private tours and I accommodated honeymoon couples and families.  Some of the tours were day tours and others were as long as 10 days and in that time you really do become very close to your families that when it was time to say good bye, we even shed a tear or two.

It was awful during COVID as obviously all tourism came to an abrupt halt and during this time we too moved from the City to the West Coast.  I now little in a small town called St Helena Bay and this really is my happy space.  Anywhere close to the ocean is my happy space.

It would be my honour to share my experiences with you, not as a travel agent, but as a personal guide to my beautiful country.

Afford me the opportunity to design your itinerary and ensure you get to see only the best of what the Cape and Garden Route has to offer.  I am also able to book your accommodation and adventure activities on your behalf.

Included in the itinerary will be a complete breakdown of what to do, where to visit, ideas of restaurants, accommodations and maps should you consider a self drive.

If you do not have a vehicle and driver, and I have availability, then we too can include this on the itinerary.

Look forward to sharing my country with you.
