PENINSULA TOUR
PENINSULA TOUR – 1 DAY TOUR
A beautiful drive along the Atlantic Coast through affluent areas like Camps Bay and Clifton with their beautiful white beaches. The road takes us to Hout Bay where you can board a boat and do a 45 minute seal island cruise and then it is over the famous winding pass of Chapmans Peak. We stop for some amazing views of Hout Bay Harbour as we reach the top of the pass. Following that we drive to Cape Point and visit the Cape of Good Hope… the most south westernly part of Africa where you get to take your photo to say I HAVE BEEN HERE! :) We then head off along the False Bay coast to visit Boulders Beach, home to the African penguin...also an amazing stop for lunch right on the beach! A stroll through Kalk Bay with visits to some of their unique shops and then sadly our road trip ends at the surfing mecca of South Africa...Muizenberg! We stroll onto the beach for some lovely photos...then sadly it is back to the City ....a lot of driving, a lot of nature and a lot of stunning photos!

Right... so we hit the road really early as we head off on a 3 hour journey to Inverdoorn Game Reserve...it is a lovely scenic drive through the country until we enter the gates to this beautiful Game Reserve. On arrival we have some cookies and coffee/tea awaiting us which we enjoy while waiting for our guide to saddle up our transport. Then it is off for a BIG 5 Tour of Inverdoorn. The guides are phenomenal, very informative and super friendly..they take the time to explain and talk about all the animals, answer any questions and ensure you get enjoy a super experience. The animals are all around us, up close and personal....it is one of the most delightful experiences that I have had an opportunity on more than one occasion to experience. Once we have seen the animals its back for a three course lunch under the boma....the food is tasteful and plenty....a walk about the property...some shopping and if it is hot a swim in the pool brings our day to end when we have to return to the City...if you cannot experience the Kruger Park then this one is for you.....and I would be honoured to experience it once again with you!

If you are one for edge of seat thrills then this one is for you...meet your greatest fear face to face in his environment..the GREAT WHITE!
We leave Cape Town bright and early and enjoy a hot drink with a delicious breakfast on arrival in Gansbaai. You are then briefed on the mornings activities and we head down to the boat and off we go out to sea for close on 2 1/2 to 3 hours...depending on shark activity...it is a fantastic opportunity to meet the GREAT WHITES face to face...as they swim in front of the cages when you are lowered into the water....your heart beats so hard but the thrill is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If going into the cage is somewhat of a scary thought for you then join anyway and capture some amazing photos from the deck. Once everyone has had their chance to dive we return to dry land and enjoy some hot soup and bread and you can have a hot shower too....We watch the DVD and you have the option to purchase it. We then leave and head for Hermanus where you can do a walkabout at the market and do some shopping and have lunch. If it is whale season (August to December) then you can enjoy some exceptional land based whale watching before we head back to Cape Town along the False Bay Coast. It is a long day but well worth the fun and sights!

TABLE MOUNTAIN / ROBBEN ISLAND - FULL DAY TOUR
Ascend to the top of Table Mountain by Cable Car for the most stunning views of the City, Camps Bay,Table Bay Harbour and Robben Island. (weather permitting). Spend time exploring the mountain from all angles, see some Dassies in their natural habitat and watch how ~crazy~ people drop off the side of the mountain when abseiling to the foot of Table Mountain.
We join the ferry at the Neslon Mandela Gateway situated at the V&A Waterfront and take a 40 minute boat ride to Robben Island. We are met by a guide who introduces us to the Island, visit the prison cell of Nelson Mandela and get to converse with ex prisoners from yesteryear who are now cultural guides on the island. We are then left to explore on our own before returning to the ferry. There is a lovely gift shop on the island where you are able to purchase Island and Nelson Mandela memorobilia.
We return to the Waterfront where you are able to enjoy a hearty lunch.

Day 1:
We leave Cape Town bright and early and drive through the Elgin and Grabouw Valley which is very well known for its fruits and the export thereof and the town of Hermanus. Gansbaai is our first stop where we will do our thrilling shark cage diving experience. After a hearty breakfast we are briefed and then its down to the boat and off to sea for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours....depending on shark activity. If you are not set into climbing into the cage, being on board is just as great as you get to take some stunning photos of the sharks. Once everyone has dived its back to the mainland for a hot shower (optional) and some delicious hot soup and bread. We watch the DVD of the morning and you have the opportunity to purchase it. We spend the afternoon in Hermanus exploring the town and having lunch. You will then be dropped at your amazing 5 star accommodation in Hermanus which includes a scrumptious dinner,treats and fantastic sea views. After a super day you cuddle up and enjoy the rest of your evening with fantastic views from your balcony sipping on some of the finest wines from the Hermanus Wine Valley.
Day 2:
Morning comes and you are treated to a fantastic breakfast before we bid our hosts goodbye and start out for the day. Today the highlight will be deep sea whale watching where you are almost guaranteed seeing these gentle giants in their own habitat...fantastic photo opportunities.
Lunch will be served at the lovely Fresh Restaurant after a wine tasting at Paul Cluver Wines in the Elgin Valley...
then sadly our tour comes to an end and we head back to Cape Town....

3 night - 4 day GARDEN ROUTE
We depart from Cape Town for 3 nights and 4 days up the Garden Route.
Day 1
We depart from the City and head out on the highway through some of the most stunning mountain scenery and passes. We pass through the towns of Worcester, Robertson (one of our fine Wine Routes), Montagu and reach Barrydale for our lunch stop at the Diesel and Creme Roadside Restaurant (the best milkshakes in this town). Once on the road we bypass Ladismith and Calitzdorp before we reach Oudtshoorn which is our destination for Day 1. We enjoy an "Ostrich Experience" when we visit the show farm and get to learn more about the Ostrich capital of the world situated in the Klein Karoo. We then book in at our luxury accommodation. A 3 course dinner awaits you later in the evening followed by some excellent star gazing before you settle in for the night.
Day 2
After a good nights sleep you awake to a hearty breakfast served in the dining room. The Cango Caves (millions of years old caves) and The Cango Wildlife Ranch (with over 90 species of animals and the opportunity to have a close encounter with one of the animals) awaits you next today. After spending the morning in Oudtshoorn we now head out to Knysna and visit the Famous Heads for amazing views of the lagoon. We check into our accommodation in Knysna and later return to the Waterfront for a sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon followed by dinner (restaurant of your choice).
Day 3
Enjoy a fabulous breakfast before we start a new day. We leave Knysna for Plettenberg Bay. Today you will get an opportunity to do a little shopping at the Global Village and take a stroll on the beautiful beaches of Plettenberg Bay. We then visit Monkeyland and Birds of Eden at the Crags and have a coffee at The Mill before we take the road to the Tsitsikamma National Park and take a stunning hike through the forests down to the suspension bridges. They have a restaurant where you are able to have a sit down lunch with amazing views of the Indian Ocean....might even spot a baboon or two.... We then return to Knysna and enjoy a little leisure time. Dinner later at the Waterfront (restaurant of your choice).
Day 4
Once you have had your breakfast its time to start our journey back to Cape Town. Today we start along the coast road with a stop in Mossel Bay where we visit the Diaz Museum and also take a drive to the Point for viewing. Back on the road we drive through the towns of Albertinia (with a stop at the Aloe Ferox factory), Riversdale and Swellendam (our stop for lunch). We pass the smaller towns of Calitzdorp, Caledon and Somerset West before we arrive back in the City.
